"Activities are organized by age groups and designed by professionals in early childhood education to stimulate the physical development, cognition ability, creativity, fine motor sills, language and speech, as well as the social skills of participating children"

Physical development:

Children will crawl, jump, climb and slide in one of the largest and most complete indoor playgrounds in Washington DC. These activities aim to develop gross motor skills and enhance physical fitness.

Creativity and Fine Motor Skills:

Children will explore, discover, create, and learn through guided art crafting and sensory activities that stimulate creativity. Children will use different materials and techniques (drawing, coloring, tearing paper, using tweezers and chopsticks, beading, etc.) that require hand-eye coordination.

Cognition Ability:

We offer an array of activities to stimulate memory, judgment, evaluation, reasoning, and problem solving. Children will participate in individual and group activities to implement processes and attain results, apply intelligence, experiment with cause and effect, and develop math skills. Such activities might include counting, patterning, visual discrimination, scanning, and sight memory. Magic Ground has a large space equipped with blocks, memory games, and other tools to stimulate their cognitive ability.

Language development:

Language development includes alphabet learning, phonemic awareness and oral communication through circle time, story reading, puppet animation, singing and other activities that stimulate speech, interaction and socialization.

Please note Magic Ground is not a permanent child care service or a child development center or a substitute thereof. Activity passes must be purchased for the specific day your child will participate.
